Dr. Clinton to Head International Environmental Education Effort

Dr. Carol Clinton, President of E3 Strategic Partners and graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering, has been elected Vice Chair of the Education Council for the international Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA).  Dr. Clinton will take office on January 1, 2014. From this post, she will succeed to Education Council Chair and member of the A&WMA Board of Directors.

E3 Strategic Partners (E3SP) is a consulting firm specializing in environmental, health, safety (EHS) and sustainability risk management.  Projects include carbon footprint analysis and reduction; international EHS auditing, training, compliance, due diligence, dangerous goods and product safety support for industrial and other clients.  E3SP is a certified woman-owned business through the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council headquartered in Cincinnati.

The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 5,000 environmental professionals in 65 countries.  A&WMA promotes global environmental responsibility and increases the effectiveness of organizations to make critical decisions that benefit society.  More information is available at www.awma.org.  In her role with the Education Council, Dr. Clinton will lead the A&WMA program of webinars, in-person and on-line courses, and other offerings for environmental professionals, teachers and higher education providers, and the public.
